Since 2009, Reuben has worked as a Digital Matte Painter for visual effects studios contributing on projects for Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Sony, Fox Digital and more. A production driven artist, bringing deep creativity and practical solutions to every project with a priority commitment to the highest quality visual standard .
An expert 2D matte artist, using Photoshop bringing over 20 years of photography experience to his craft in photo-real integration, digital set extension, style frames and clean plating. Formally trained in the fine arts and illustration, he has been able to inform his work applying it to other disciplines like storyboarding, character design, and concept art.

Balancing out his pursuits, between projects and after honing his effects work, Reuben devotes time to exploring his original post punk and new wave songwriting as well as tinkering in his studio on his life long passion for creating surrealist oil paintings.
